The Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Poor ( French : Petites sœurs des pauvres ) is a Roman Catholic religious order .

The women's order was founded in Saint-Servan near Saint-Malo in 1839 by St. Jeanne Jugan (1792–1879). The congregation became episcopal in 1852 and on March 1, 1879 by Pope Leo XIII. accepted.

Over 3000 sisters are involved in the social and charitable sector in 32 countries on five continents (as of 2005). Elderly, destitute people are cared for in 208 houses of the religious order. The houses are open to everyone, regardless of religion or culture.

Sister Jeanne Jugan's charity, founded on September 5, 1998, has over 1900 members around the world.
