The Konkuk University is a private university in South Korea . It is one of 36 colleges in Seoul . It also has a second campus location in Chungju .
history
The history of the university begins with its founding in 1949 as the Chosun School of Politics (조선 정치 학관) for the training of future political leaders. 13 years later it was renamed Konkuk (建國 Structure of the Land).
