Contact ability

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The ability to make contact as a personality trait outlines the ability to establish contact with known and unknown people, to build relationships and to maintain them. In addition, it also includes the ability to build up and maintain social networks in both professional and private life (cf. Hossiep and Paschen, 2003).

There are overlaps with the concept of "extraversion" from the Big Five model or three-factor model according to Eysenck (1953, cf. also Fisseni, 1998; Amelang & Bartussek, 2001), which also includes these aspects of the " Networking ”includes.
