Cost note

A cost note is the bill from a lawyer or notary for his professional activity.

The minimum content results from Section 10 of the Lawyers' Remuneration Act (RVG). After that, a cost note must be signed by the lawyer. It must be communicated to the client . The calculation must include the individual fees and expenses , advances paid and the description of the fee event. Furthermore, the numbers in the remuneration list (RVG-VV) must be given. If the fees are calculated according to an object value, this must also be stated.
