Coverb

In linguistics , the term coverb (English coverb ) denotes verbs that occur in languages ​​with verb serialization and fulfill a kind of adpositional function (in this specific case a prepositional function ), e.g. B. in a number of East and Southeast Asian languages ​​(e.g. Chinese ) as well as West African languages ​​(e.g. Yoruba ).
