The Kowalski Cliff ( Filar Kowalskiego in Polish ) is a bare and 250 m high cliff on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the banks of Mackellar Inlet , it rises in the middle of the Domeyko Glacier in the northern part of Three Musketeers Hill .
Polish scientists named it in 1980 after the doctor Wiesław Kowalski, a participant in the Polish Antarctic expedition that ran from 1977 to 1978.
