Kraft Müller

Kraft Müller (* around 1503 in Schlettstadt ; † April 24, 1547 in the Battle of Mühlberg ) was a printer in Wittenberg and Strasbourg . Partly it is also Kra ff t or Crato Mylius listed.

life and work

Müller was born around 1503 as the son of Gregor Müller and Otilia Kraft. He attended the Latin school in Schlettstadt and was matriculated in Wittenberg in 1523 . Here he was a student of Philipp Melanchthon . In 1536 Müller took over Georg Ulricher's office . In the VD 16 about 130 prints miller are detected.
