The claw toe is a misalignment of the toes caused by contraction of the flexor and extensor muscles of the foot . The tips of the toes often do not reach the ground, the metatarsophalangeal joint is completely or almost dislocated ( dislocation or subluxation ).

The consequences are often pressure loads in the dorsal area of ​​the toe joints , corns , lesions , etc.
