Kranewitter is the common name for juniper schnapps in Austria and parts of Bavaria . It is derived from Kranewitt (juniper).
Kranewitter is the family name of the following people:
- Alois Kranewitter (1817–1880), Austrian Jesuit and missionary in Australia
- Franz Kranewitter (1860–1938), Austrian playwright
- Franz Josef Kranewitter (1893–1974), Austrian sculptor and painter
