Elbroich Hospital

The Elbroich Hospital (KHE) in the Elbroich Castle Park in Düsseldorf-Holthausen is a geriatric medicine center with a focus on psychiatric and acute geriatric diseases. It was taken over in 1984 by the Mörsenbroich-Rath GmbH hospital, which has been part of the Association of Katholischer Kliniken Düsseldorf gGmbH (VKKD) since 2004 .

history

The Elbroich Hospital was put into operation in 1977.

In 2000, the expansion of acute geriatric care followed.

In 2002 the department for geriatric psychiatry and psychotherapy was added.

In 2004, the hospital was incorporated into the newly founded Association of Katholischer Kliniken Düsseldorf gGmbH (VKKD) under the affiliation of the Krankenhaus-Mörsenbroich Rath GmbH .

structure

The Elbroich Hospital combines the specialist clinics necessary for diagnosis and treatment. Approx. 1300 patients are treated here every year. The house has 125 beds and 170 employees are employed there.
