Marijampolė Hospital
The hospital Marijampolė ( lit. VšĮ Marijampolės ligoninė ) is the largest hospital in the district of Marijampolė . It is located in the district capital Marijampolė , the seventh largest city in Lithuania . According to its legal form , it is a public institution ( Viešoji įstaiga ). The hospital has 743 employees (2011). It has its own consultation clinic for outpatient advice. The hospital is located in the Degučiai district . It is headed by Director Audronė Kuodienė.
history
Marijampolė Hospital was founded in Soviet Lithuania in the 20th century and modernized from 2007 to 2013. The international cooperation project (partner countries: Lithuania, Poland and Russia ) received EU co-financing of 4 million euros ( Lithuania-Poland-Russia ENPI Cross-border Co-operation program 2007-2013, cofinanced with funds from the European Union ).
