Clinical picture

A clinical picture is the totality of all phenomena characteristic of a disease (signs or symptoms ), which can be observed in more or less different forms. The term entity is used synonymously .

In a broader sense, syndrome is the simultaneous presence of various characteristic, i.e. H. in idealizing-typifying terms, presumably or known to be understood aetiologically , statistically or otherwise related symptoms. In the narrower sense, syndrome is understood according to its strictly literal meaning to mean symptoms that occur jointly, but are only partially causally or otherwise related or also obviously not related.

In a broader sense, it is about the same symptoms, i.e. H. a consistent pattern of abnormalities, a symptomatology consisting of several symptoms such as a characteristic triad of symptoms .

In a narrower sense, symptoms of different types occurring at the same time can also be referred to as a syndrome.
