- Marketing data.
KSV offers international business information, debt collection services and representation in insolvency proceedings. 70 percent of the business information is already accessed online.
The KSV Group was created through international subsidiaries and strategic holdings, which stands for technical know-how on the one hand and global connections on the other. The association is subordinate to a presidium and board, whereby the operational management is carried out by Johannes Nejedlik and Karl Jagsch. 720 employees now look after 20,000 members at 28 domestic and foreign locations. The turnover in Austria for 2006 was 42 million euros.
criticism
Like other debt collectors, the KSV is accused of collecting the claims on behalf of customers with great severity. Possible objections of the dunned customers would often not be answered in terms of content, but with further dunning letters, which incur additional costs. The Austrian consumer protection association VKI criticizes that the request for a loan can lead to registration with the KSV.
The KSV 1870 is accused of "behaving in a way that supports the state", although it is a private company. His letters give the impression that they come from a government agency. The data collected are criticized as being incorrect. The refusal of organizations such as KSV 1870 to delete or update outdated data, or to delete the data, and through this deletion to indicate a lack of creditworthiness, hinders people in their economic restart and means an ongoing breach of law by these organizations.
