A district hunting association is a subdivision of the hunting associations on a regional level, and thus a middle organizational unit in the German Hunting Association between the State Hunting Association and Hegering .

The catchment area for district hunters is usually a district or an independent city. District hunting associations usually organize the election of a district hunting master ; occasionally also called district hunter master.
