District Hunting Master
A district hunting master is an honorary official of the respective federal state in which his area of responsibility lies, established by the German state hunting laws . The regulations can vary slightly depending on the state hunting law.
He is elected from among the ranks of the hunters for five years. Hunting license holders who have their place of residence or who have the right to hunt in the relevant area are entitled to vote . The elections are usually organized by the district hunting associations. The district hunting master acts as an advisor to the Lower Hunting Authority and can be heard on questions related to hunting . He usually receives an expense allowance for his work .
