The military history book series War and Conflict has been published by Campus Verlag in Frankfurt am Main since 2017 . Responsible editors are Martin Clauss , Marian Füssel , Oliver Janz , Sönke Neitzel and Oliver Stoll .

Studies on “modern military history” and the “cultural history of violence” are published in the book series. The studies are broad, both in their subject matter and in their temporal and spatial location, ranging from antiquity to contemporary history and across the whole world. Since one aim of the book series is to help the non-European military and violent history in German-speaking historical studies and academic circles in general to gain greater attention, global historical approaches are given special priority.
