War memorial in Longueville

The war memorial in D'Huison-Longueville , a French commune in the Essonne department in the Île-de-France region , was erected in 1920. It exists in two identical versions. One war memorial stands next to the church in the district of D'Huison ( here ) and the second on the Route d'Etampes in the district of Longueville ( here ).

Since the residents of Longueville did not agree to the erection of the war memorial in D'Huison instead of in their district, the same war memorial was erected in Longueville. The dead of the First and Second World War are remembered with two memorials.
