Paisley War Memorial

The Paisley War Memorial is a war memorial in the Scottish town of Paisley in the Renfrewshire council area . In 1980 the building was included in the Scottish monument lists, initially in category B. The upgrade to the highest category A took place in 1997.

The memorial is in the center of Paisley on an open space between High Street , Gilmour Street and Moss Street . It consists of a bronze sculpture that rests on a high stone foundation. As an architect, Robert Lorimer is responsible for the design of the foundation. The sculpture shows a riding motif and was designed by A. Meredith Williams.
