Phillip P. Keene

Phillip P. Keene (born September 5, 1966 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor , best known for his impersonation of Buzz Watson in the series The Closer and Major Crimes .

Life

In addition to his native English , Phillip P. Keene speaks fluent German and Spanish . He also attended the University of California, Los Angeles . He also has a pilot's license .

Keene had his first television appearance in 2004 in an episode of the series The DA. A year later, he played the role of Buzz Watson in the TNT series The Closer at the side of Kyra Sedgwick . His role was on the side cast for the first three seasons, before being on the main cast from the fourth through the seventh seasons. From 2012 to 2018 he was also in Major Crimes , the spin-off of The Closer , with the party.

In October 2013, Keene married screenwriter James Duff after a 20-year relationship .
