War memorial (Winterbach)
The Winterbach (Palatinate) war memorial is located in the town on Landstuhler Strasse . It was built during the First World War and is considered a cultural monument .
Carved out of a craggy sandstone quarry and thereby resting in a grotto, as it were, a larger than life soldier from the First World War lies in front of the viewer as if laid out. There is a small pool of water in front of the monument. A plaque also commemorates those who died in World War II .
