The war memorial is a monument in the Berlin district of Marzahn in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district .

history

The war memorial erected in 1920 at the western end of the village green in Alt-Marzahn commemorates 25 Marzahn victims of the First World War with the name inscriptions . The youngest victim fell on October 22, 1918, shortly before his 19th birthday on November 18. In 1933 the stone was crowned by a Prussian eagle , which was damaged several times in the following years and later disappeared.
