The war memorial in Langschied (Taunus) is a memorial for the soldiers from the village who fell in the First and Second World Wars .

The monument was erected in the center of the village in 1925 and supplemented in 1955. In a form unusual for war memorials , it was executed as a fountain. In the middle of an octagonal basin there is a four meter high fountain stick. Both elements are made of cut quarry stone. The fountain shaft is closed by a stone ball , on which an iron cross made of stone is placed .

Later, in the 1950s, stone tablets were attached to the edges of the well stock. In addition to the names of the fallen, they contain the following inscription:

The brave from 1914 to 1918
and 1939 to 1945 in memory
