The Vinningen war memorial is a building in the Southwest Palatinate district . It relates to the two world wars and is considered a cultural monument .

It is located near the local church at Luitpoldplatz 1.

layout

On the wall that closes off the ensemble at the rear, Vinningen shows the well-known motif of the soldier in a coat, helmet and rifle, but here as a procession of ten figures without individuality marching one after the other onto the field with the name boards. In front of it, a kneeling, head bowed female figure dominates, who has wrapped her robe around the girl standing in front of her. The text reads "OUR SONS".
