Mannhausen war memorial
The listed war memorial in the Calvör district of Mannhausen is located on the corner of Wegenstedter Strasse / Velsdorfer Strasse south directly on the village square under oaks by the former schoolhouse .

The monument, which is striking in terms of urban development, was erected for those who fell in the Franco-German War in 1870/1871. The memorial consists - stylistically striking - of a column wrapped in oak leaves with a composite capital on a stepped plinth as a support. The appearance of this monument is unique in the municipality of Calvörde.
