Nativity Museum (Dornbirn)
The Dornbirn Nativity Scene Museum is located in the “Glockenstadel” in Gütle at the entrance to the Rappenloch Gorge .
It was opened in 2003 . The collection includes over 150 nativity scenes from 4 continents. However, only a part of the cribs (around 100 to 120) are exhibited - the cribs are replaced annually. The number of cribs continues to grow. The sponsor is the Dornbirn Crib Association. A specialty are the so-called "mirror cribs", where the clever arrangement of mirrors creates a much deeper impression than it actually does.
