Crystal cutting technology
Crystal grinding technology is an apprenticeship in Austria with a training period of three years.
tasks
Crystal cutting technicians work in workshops for glass processing as well as in the glass processing industry and are familiar with the processing of crystal glass, precious stones and many other plastics and materials. As a rule, household items and decorative items are made from the materials (e.g. mirrors, glasses, bowls, figurines). Manual skills paired with knowledge of modern production and manufacturing processes and the use of semi and fully automatic grinding systems are prerequisites for working as a crystal grinding technician.
