Life
Knall's stage name is a short form of "You will get a bang". Since 2013 he has written books on Berlin and social criticism and appears on radio programs. Often the actions take place in shabby milieus and on the margins of society. The insulting and vulgar style stands in an often ironically broken contrast to the statement. Kristjan Knall is committed to left-wing progressive goals, including the abolition of capitalism , transparency in politics and the unconditional basic income . Sometimes he advocates provocative theses such as the abolition of children. In 2016 he moderated a question and answer session for Rockrado Berlin about the Berlin direct candidates for the 2016 election to the House of Representatives.

The lifestyle magazine Vice wrote in 2016 about Knall's book Berlin to piss off : “[...] what Kristjan Knall offers the reader here is an eternal ride around outdated clichés with a deliberately radically written 'Everything was better in the past' lyre. The problem with the book: It neither hurts anyone, nor is it a lot of fun. "
In a 2015 book review on Europa ist geil in the FAZ it was said: "His anarchic anti-Europe book is a consumer and communism-critical, pleasantly ideology-free journey through time and a disillusioning ghost trip to Absurdistan [...]" "The only downer is with all the fun political inaccuracy Bang's tendency to use strong expressions that the humorously gifted and observant author would not even need.
