Kristo ( Кристо ) is a Bulgarian rapper. Under his real name Hristo Balabanov ( Христо Балабанов ) he is active as an actor in Bulgaria and also in American films.

biography

From the age of five, Hristo Balabanov took piano lessons and martial arts lessons. He attended an English-language private school in Sofia and then the renowned Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania on the American east coast. The main course was acting.

Since 2004 Balabanov has been publishing under the rap name Kristo in his homeland and has achieved some success in the national charts of Bulgaria. The pieces Ostavam tuk and Poveche ot vsichko , both together with the singer Lora Karadjova , are his most successful songs on the Internet with over four million views on YouTube . As an actor he appears in Bulgarian television series and from 2011 onwards he also had some minor roles in American television films.
