history

Farm at the Krubberg

The Krubberg settlement was founded in the late Middle Ages . The earliest documented mention can be found in the income book of Hillentrup Church from 1519. At that time Krubberg was still under the old name of Bollersen , which was used until the 17th century . In the Landschatzregister from 1535, the name Krukenberg is recorded for the first time , from which Krubberg later developed. The settlement structure is still the same today as it was 400 years ago and consists of six farms, which - about 2.5 to 3 km from the Hillentrup valley basin - are lined up in loose succession on the Krubberg of the same name.

Until their incorporation, Krubberg belonged to the Hillentrup community .
