It has an area of 0.12 km² and a maximum depth of 11.5 m. The lake has an elongated, curved shape with a maximum length of approx. 700 m and a maximum width of approx. 250 m and drains in the south via the Peverlingsee and the Ihlsee into the Kellersee .
