Krush was a British house act from the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Band history

Krush consisted of Mark Gamble and Cassius Campbell and was produced by Mark Brydon and Robert Gordon. The first single, House Arrest , was written with British singer Ruth Joy, who also wrote the lyrics. House Arrest was one of the first big hits of the British sample / house scene, which had its breakthrough in 1988. Despite the great success, more singles were a long time coming. It wasn't until 1992 that Krush released a second single entitled Walking on Sunshine (not to be confused with the Katrina-and-the-Waves hit of the same name ). The song became a club hit, but only reached the lower ranks of the British singles charts. Since then, no further publications by Krush are known.
