Ktesibios of Chalkis
Ktesibios of Chalkis ( ancient Greek Κτησίβιος ὁ Χαλκιδεὺς Ktēsíbios ho Chalkideús , Latinized Ctesibius Calcideus ) was an ancient Greek philosopher . He lived in the early 3rd century BC. Chr. And belonged to the circle of the Elisch-Eretrischen school . Little is known about him. The only sources available on him are Athenaios and possibly Diogenes Laertios .
