Kuckuck Schallplatten is a German music label . It was founded in 1969 in Munich by Eckart Rahn, Mal Sondock and ConceptData. The predecessor was ERP Musikverlag, which was founded by Rahn on April 1st, 1968. Kuckuck is considered to be the longest-running German independent label and the first German label dedicated to progressive rock . Deutsche Grammophon serves as the distributor .
