Kuigan ( Kazakh Құйған ) is a village in the Almaty area in Kazakhstan with around 1,800 inhabitants (2011).
It is located on the east bank on the western part of Lake Balkhash in the delta of the Ili River .
The inhabitants live from fishing, which is particularly productive in April and May. Many people leave the place (as of 2011).
A road connects the village with Schideli, about 10 km to the east, and continues to Balatopar.
