Culturally creative
Among the cultural creatives or Culture Creative sociologist understand Paul H. Ray and psychologist Ruth Anderson, a segment in the US company which, in their study already includes 50 million adult Americans and is regarded worldwide as the fastest growing values scene. The study was based on values research over a period of 13 years in which a total of 100,000 Americans were surveyed. The result was presented in 2000.
This segment (the “new progressives ”) has only recently developed beyond the usual paradigms (modernists versus traditionalists or conservatives). The search for identity is characterized by dealing with materialism and hedonism . Culturally creative people are people who represent holistic , creative values in their respective cultures .
People who conform to this personality style feel relatively isolated and have not yet developed an awareness of their existence as a social group, although their number is increasing. Your lifestyle is shaped by health and environmental awareness .
People who come across the term "culturally creative" for the first time usually mean that they are artists who are active in the traditional "culture" areas of theater, museums, music, painting, etc. To avoid this and to make it clear that this is a movement that is going to create a new culture as a whole and to coin (= create), recommend some editorial culture of creative media and the Club of Budapest Worldshift Network , under whose patronage studies are carried out worldwide on the cultural creatives, in future to use the contracted term "Kulturkreative" in German. Here the emphasis is on “culture” and it becomes clearer that this is a civil society process that does not require any “cultural technical” specialist knowledge. This definition of terms was discussed and coordinated with Paul Ray, who coined the term “cultural creatives”.
