Kumbum
A kumbum ( Tib . : sku 'bum ; "a hundred thousand holy images") is a stupa , or chorta , that contains many "holy images" (e.g. Tsa-Tsas ). The kumbum of the Pelkhor Chöde in Gyantse is particularly well known .
Kumbum is also part of the name of the Kumbum Champa Ling monastery .
