The term customer care summarizes all measures that relate to communication with customers. In this respect, customer care is an instrument of after-sales management .

Various instruments are used in the customer care process:

  • Call centers receive complaints and deal with them.
  • As part of personal customer care, the salesperson has regular contact with the buyer.
  • The media customer service provides automated problem-solving aids, e.g. B. FAQ systems.

The objective of customer care activities is customer loyalty , increasing or strengthening customer loyalty to the company.
