The oval diameter is between 37 and 45 m. The height is just over four meters. Calculations have shown that the volume of the hill is about 2000 cubic meters. With an approximate stone size of 20 cm in diameter (head-sized) that is around 250,000 stones.

Based on similar systems, it can be dated to the Finnish Bronze Age (1500–500 BC). Because of its size, it is assigned to the Early Bronze Age. Body and cremations were performed in Finland during the Bronze Age. Cremations increased towards the end of the period. The grave itself has not yet been excavated. In 1987 and 1988 excavations were carried out in the area around the hill. Round structures - presumably foundations for huts - and fireplaces were found. Also, any pottery shards and animal bones recovered. With the help of radiocarbon examinations, this residential area could be dated to the end of the Bronze Age (520 BC +/- 110 years).
