Art era

As Artistic period called Heinrich Heine , the time between the French Revolution in 1789 and the death of Goethe , 1832. This term joined Heine apparently the idea of a time that is characterized by the idea of an understood as autonomous art and one not socially involved artist. In literary historiography (e.g. Metzler literary history) the term is also used more generally for the time between the political upheavals of 1789 and the springtime of 1848, i.e. for the time of the Classical and Romantic periods in German literature .
