Kuplenik (unit)

The Kuplenik (Croatian for bushel ) was a volume and grain measure in the Karlstadt border . In this area it was 2/3 the size of the Pressburger Metzen . He was mentioned as early as 1747 in a list of flood damage. An example from this: 900 Kuplenik, each with 24 measure of millet seeds, were made available to the border guards for 14 groschen / 1 Kuplenik in Zvečai.
