The Kurpavillon in Kyselka is a historic wooden garden pavilion in the former Czech spa town of Kyselka between the former terrace café and Villa Mattoni . The building has been a registered cultural monument since 2014.

history

The exact construction time of the pavilion is unknown. It is assumed that it used to be part of the castle park and was first used regularly by Heinrich von Mattoni and later by spa guests from the spa restaurant . When Konrad Henlein visited the largely German-populated town in 1937 , he had a coffee in the pavilion and talked to members of his party . After the Second World War , the pavilion was repainted, but remained untouched afterwards. The dwindling spa guests and the closure of the coffee house left the building to decay. In the 1970s, a small wave of visitors saved the decay of the wooden pavilion with donations, which has ensured its preservation to this day.
