A course book , course booklet or course folder is a school document of the subject teachers in the upper level in which the subject matter covered, the homework, the students' absent hours, exam results, specialist work and other important data are recorded. Also included are student directories and timetables.

In primary and lower secondary level , this documentation is generally made in the class register of the respective class. This is deviated from in favor of a course booklet if classes for individual subjects are taught separately.
