Kutmecke

Kutmecke is a farming village 4 km northeast of Soest on Schleddestrasse. It is formed at the core of three farms. The Schledde flows along the western edge of the village . The responsible mayor is in Thöningsen .

The name, first recorded as Cuthenbeke for 1168–1190 , means something like Ferkelbach (contraction of kudde , kodde piglet and beke Bach).
