Kyōko Kumagai

Kyoko Kumagai ( Japanese く ま が い 杏子 , Kumagai Kyōko ; * February 14, 1983 in Yamaguchi Prefecture ) is a Japanese mangaka . She made her debut as a mangaka with the story Kimi no Te de, Atashi o in 2006. She is currently drawing for Sho-Comi magazine . In Germany her mangas The purple fan were published by Egmont and Miyako - Auf den Schwingen der Zeit by Tokyopop . Their stories can be assigned to the genre Shōjo .

The anthologies of The Purpurne Fächer each sold over 70,000 times in Japan. The tenth volume of their latest series, Miyako - Auf den Schwingen der Zeit , sold almost 20,000 copies in the first week of its release at the end of 2016.
