Kym Milne

Kym Milne (* 1965 in Australia ) is a world-renowned winemaker and oenologist . He advises winemakers and the wine industry around the world and is one of the most important figures in the international wine business. Because of its global activities, he is flying winemaker , flying winemaker called.

Milne first studied oenology at the renowned Roseworthy Agricultural College in Adelaide (Australia) and then at the London Institute of Masters of Wine (IMW), where he was one of the few graduates to successfully complete all exams on the first attempt in 1991 and has since been awarded the title " MW “( Master of Wine ) is entitled.

He gained his first professional experience at the Australian winery Berri Estates and then moved to New Zealand to Villa Maria Estate . In 1992 and 1993 he worked as a freelance winemaker in Hungary and France before he became a manager at the British wine importing company International Wine Services in 1993. His wines regularly achieved top ratings and won international awards.

Milne is a juror at numerous international wine competitions and a recognized expert on European, Australian and New Zealand wines.

After 19 years abroad, Milne has been living in Adelaide Hills again with his New Zealand wife Jane and three children since 2002, where he runs his own consulting company, Global Wine Solutions .
