Läkerol is a Swedish candy brand that is now owned by the Swedish confectionery manufacturer Cloetta AB .

The gum arabic- based pastilles are available in different flavors.

Läkerol was invented by Adolf Ahlgren in 1909 , which is why the letter A is imprinted on each lozenge. The name Läkerol is derived from the Swedish läka for "to heal". In the early 1980s Björn Borg advertised Läkerol. All Nobel Prize winners receive a complete Läkerol series. Läkerol is also one of the few selected suppliers to the royal court.

From 1914 Läkerol was also sold for a while in Germany by Beuthien & Schultz GmbH, Chemische Fabriken Berlin.

In addition to Scandinavia, the main sales markets are Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Singapore and Hong Kong.

While countless variations are offered in Sweden, the offer in Switzerland is reduced to individual flavors. Läkerol Kaudrops have been available in German stores since the beginning of 2008. Importhaus Wilms / Impuls GmbH & Co. KG, Taunusstein, is responsible for marketing and sales. At the start, four sugar-free flavor variants were introduced.
