Léo Detemple

Léo Detemple (also Léo DeTemple , * around 1910, † after 1943) was a French jazz pianist and arranger of the swing era.

Detemple played in Amsterdam in 1933 with Jack de Vries ' Internationals (with Eddie Brunner , among others ), for whom he also arranged ("All of a Sudden"). In 1935 he was a member of André Ekyan's orchestra , with whom he also made recordings (“ St. Louis Blues ”); He also played in Alix Combelle's band , which had an engagement in the Jeunesse Club in Paris , and was a member of a swing quartet of guitarist and accordionist Charley Bazin , with Marcel Bianchi (guitar) and Bob Bermoser (drums and violin). In the early 1940s he served as the orchestra leader in the L'Amiral and Elysees Club .
