LASYS
The LASYS is the international trade fair for laser -Materialbearbeitung. By focusing on the topic of laser material processing, it has positioned itself as a user fair. It shows this topic in all its facets - that means: all manufacturing processes, but also the variety of materials and especially very special applications. A special focus is on complete laser manufacturing systems.
It has been organized by the Landesmesse Stuttgart every two years since 2008 at the new exhibition center at Stuttgart Airport. The first fair took place from March 4th to 6th, 2008.
The next LASYS will take place from June 16 to 18, 2020.
LASYS is a trade fair for users who focus on machines, processes and services, including laser-specific machine subsystems. The focus of the LASYS exhibition is on laser production systems for macro and micro laser material processing, processes (laser applications or product solutions), components and system peripherals of laser production technology as well as services.
As an accompanying program, the Stuttgart Laser Days (SLT) conference usually takes place on the first two days of the fair in the International Congress Center (ICS). The Stuttgart Laser Days are a central user forum for the laser industry. Main topics are u. a. Laser micro processing, laser sources, laser macro processing and beam sources with many best-practice examples.
The organizer for this is the Institute for Blasting Tools (IFSW) at the University of Stuttgart.

At LASYS 2018, the international trade fair for laser material processing, the 5,750 visitors obtained information from 189 exhibitors from 23 nations about the use of lasers in industrial production.
LASYS is the only international trade fair that consistently focuses on system solutions for laser material processing. LASYS addresses decision-makers from international industry across industries and materials. The top 5 industries are mechanical engineering, automotive, optical industry, plant and apparatus engineering.
