The LWS-3 Mewa (Seagull) was a single-engine Polish reconnaissance aircraft .

development

Development work began in 1935. The first prototype flew in November 1937. Due to the good performance of the type, the Polish Air Force ordered 200 copies at the end of 1938. On September 2, 1939, the first two aircraft were delivered to the Polish associations. The delivery of further machines could no longer take place due to the outbreak of war .
