La Barra is an Argentine cuarteto band from Córdoba .

The group is led by the two singers Javier Brizuela and Daniel Guardia. She first appeared in public in September 1994. Already with their debut album La Barra they could get a gold record in Argentina.

The lyrics are mostly about girls and love. In Cordoba itself are extremely popular, appear around five times a week in different locations, and are therefore almost ubiquitous.

Outside of the epicenter of the Cuarteto movement - Córdoba and the northwest of Argentina - they play less often and are also less well known, yet many of their songs are played in discos across the country, their CDs are also selling well nationwide and are also available in some neighboring countries (e.g. . Bolivia ) available. Her biggest hit was El Trencito .

A special feature of the group is that they are extremely popular not only with the working class, but also with the upper class of Argentina, which is not necessarily characteristic of the Cuarteto music genre.
